Maison Hirondelles
The French holiday home (gites) are set amongst tranquil vineyards of southern France’s Languedoc area. A well modernised ‘Maison de Maitre’, it offers two self-contained French holiday homes which are open throughout the year. We consider bookings of no less than three nights - breakfast facilities provided but on a self service basis.

There are five double  rooms  which can also have twin beds if preferred - three on the first floor and two on the ground floor and all have either en-suite bathrooms or en-suite shower rooms and there is also a separate cloakroom with a shower on the ground floor.

“Les Hirondelles is a magical place, not least because of Meg and Sim who are the world’s best and most welcoming hosts.  When we were not sunbathing and swimming in the French sunshine, we were out walking in the mountains and woods, picnicking by a stream amongst a mass of spring flowers and surround-sound birdsong.  And when we weren’t doing that, we were being thoroughly entertained by Meg and Sim in their glorious garden with a glass or two (or more!) of local wine.  Add in the gorgeous Maddie and her two visiting catty friends, and we were in heaven.  If we didn’t love our homeland Cornwall so much, we’d move in permanently.”

- Jane Grierson, Cornwall (May 2015)
